ROM Manager Premium allows you to instal CWM Recovery on your phone/tab. It then becomes a GUI for CWM Recovery to backup and restore. It also allows easy OTA updates enabled by various supported ROMs.

I know that it is NOT COMPATIBLE with my SGS2 as recovery and kernel are using same partition, so would cause problems if you tried to instal CWM recovery that way.

You would have to research if it would be compatible with your device or indeed if you would have any actual use for it.

If in doubt, don't use it !

I must say that it was very useful for my HTC DHD though.

Looks ok, got similar app on sgs2 but that one doesn't work on tab.

If you use it- best to not use the flash .zip option. This is because on most cases you should be wiping cache and Dalvik at the minimum. Sometimes you'll also need to wipe system and data also, depending on what package you're flashing. The above option more than likely won't do that.

I use it mainly for to make backup and restored.

I would like to know when the ics or CyanogenMod 9 for galaxy tab 7.7?

Honeycomb is pretty crappy really. It got lot of bugs in the Honeycomb operating system
There is no extra large text setting in Honeycomb

Not sure exactly which "three" buttons you mean? Soft or hard buttons (power and volume)?

I have previously used "button saviour (root)" https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...om.smart.swkey on my SGS2. Need pro version to remap or reorder the buttons though.

Also, I currently use app "volume in notification" allowing soft buttons in the notification bar Vol up down mute. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....volumechanger

Hope this helps.
