That same file gets wiped everytime you charge your battery to full capacity. So to sum up what the others have said, there's no point to wiping battery starts.

Stupid question since they normally put it on the change log.. do we need to wipe if coming from build 32?

I only wiped dalvik and works great.

I didn't even wipe going from 28 to 33 other than cashe and dalvik. It's better if you do and makes everything smoother, but you don't have to unless you have problems... then wipe.

I flashed from 32 to 33 without a wipe and the google search bar is gone. the same thing happened when I flash from 31 to 32 without wipe. Had to start from scratch. Anyone know why?

Gapps isn't included with AOKP and needs to be flashed separately.
