No my friend , airtel often uses proxy servers and Ports for 3g offers , so you either have to google it and find the right proxy to hack 3g ,even though we dunno how long it will work it's worth to try and use the same as long as it works.

But my friend's over here are having 3G speed in 2G costs without any changes in settings. Maybe in Karnataka circle its working without any hacks. He even downloaded the nighty within 10 minutes with 2G plan

Apex launcher beta got updated...Pro expire date moved to 27 from 24..........Now no need to add apex to system/app now just tick the option in settings of apex and it will ask for permission for root (superuser app)

I am on Hydrogen ROM now on 160 DPI and its awesome... The only problem if I assign a short audio file as ringtone , the media file wont repeat when i get a call i.e, it will play for its full duration and the rest of the time the mobile just vibrates

Can u help with dis?

MTP is better than Mass Storage..........I'm using MTP in latest CM9 build

....If you don't know there is a option in settings to change MTP or Mass storage...

I don't think modem affects battery life..
Its a kernel that can affect yo're battery
