I successfully achieved s-off on one device, ran in to countless errors caused by htc sync, once disabled the first phone went off without a hitch. Second device goes through the entire process then returns error code 6635something message still sober. The instructions inform that i am miss timing the wire trick, but i am doing the same thing i did on my other rezound

I thought the usual method for flashing a recovery was through fastboot.

Timing is key. Try again and put 1.5 secs in between or whatever the website said

Make sure your on the fastboot screen. Not regular hboot.

Attached a pic of my cmd windows. Used fastboot to reflash recovery and boot. Rebooted and ran adb devices to make sure it was connected successfully and started ControlBear as admin. It's been sitting on the green arrow screen for 5 min already.
