Install Rom but before that flash the boot.img in the folder that's it

Flash by using a cmd window in the folder where it fastboot file is.

Fastboot flash boot boot.img

Flash image GUI is a great app if you don't want to flash the boot.img using a comp

i didnt flash the boot.i just flashed over the previous rom

Not all kernels are compatible with flashimage gui

If you're coming from 1.0 then no need to wipe
just flash the zip in recovery then flash the boot.img in fastboot mode
command is:

fastboot flash boot boot.img

or vice verse
first boot.img then zip in recovery

if youre coming from any other ROM then you:
wipe your phone
flash the zip
flash the boot.img

or

wipe your phone
flash the boot.img
flash the zip

Just s-off and u don't have to deal with fastboot ings
