Does your modified stock kernel work in other stock based ICS ROMS eg I Scream or KA ?

Of course it does, but if you were using night-elf kernel, you will have to flash your ROM again

But why to reflash the ROM???
I remember i never reflashed the ROM another if i flashed another compatible kernel over a ROM. And i never had a problem. Even after flashing stock kernel over some custom one.

And neither did any dev state it to reflash the ROM, to my knowledge.

EDIT: I came to know of the reason after reading the original kernel thread. No need to reply. Thnaks and sorry.

please flash ftf first.
Then flash whatever kernel you choose
Then enter recovery and flash v2 (do not flash v1)
Reboot and post your result
