I support this...I know you love this work....but "HEALTH IS WEALTH", and you cant make a painting if the canvas is not so good....Your good health is like the canvas and your work is that art you paint for this community...

One time i Spent total 4 sleepless night for making cfw for E5.

Sorry for asking, I've done some research but have not found an answer ... I was stuck on the screen "Installing update", I had to take the battery out and I can not format the /system. If I flash the rom Nova HD, after, I can format the /system, but if I try flash the last release (RC0-43) the problem happens again. There's a solution for it?

EDIT: I'm using cwm version 5.0.2

I seem to have this problem also.
1. Install kang 43 or 42.
2. Get stuck on Installing update
3. Pull battery and get into recovery.
4. Try to format system. It fails.
5. Reflash same kang, fails again but much sooner.
6. Reboot into recovery now formatting system works again.

Whats the problem? Am I missing something obvious here?

i also experienced failing system format, but upgrading KANG´s work fine for me ...

perhaps some filesystem problems ?

updater script in cm9 formats system ext4 :

format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p1", "0");
mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p1", "/system");

anybody knows which filesystem recovery is using for formatting system, i guess ext 3 ?!

Recovery uses the filesystem used in backed up ROM, just look at the filenames of the recovery files, you have ext3 or ext4 in it.
