This is somewhat true. Some custom kernels such as cm kernel can add to the counter even if flashed through CWM.

Hey g1...
I don't know much of Odin,but I returned to stock twice?
Would that show up as 2 for the flash count?

Check your counter, sometimes it trips and sometimes it doesn't. Very simple to check yourself, as no one can tell you what's on your phone
