Important: Second core behavior simulates the one of Stock kernel. For better power consumption during use you can p.ex. increase activation time and decrease deactivation time. You have to play around yourself.

I install it and test in GTA III game, very smooth!!!

I find that GuesteOC tool version is still on 203, but 203 has one bug that can't save "Max screen off frequency" value.
And version 204 solve this problem.

But I have to admit this kernel is a bit faster than latest Spica V12. Considering even the 200MHz+ overhead, that OC allows for now. Antutu shows that. But both kernels are good now.

BTW, any plans to rise the OC bar? My device feels fine at 1.4Ghz. When Watching poorly encoded videos it really helps...

The frequency now is saved, but it looks like max screen off frequency is not working.

Edit: it was guesteOC bug. Installing 2.04 (link some posts above) solves the problem.

You compare Antutu scores of spica kernel running @ 1,4 GHz with mine running @ 1,2 GHz and then additionally the scores @ 1,2 GHz are 350 points higher than spica kernel @ 1,4 GHz ?? LOL seems like something is seriously wrong with the HP release you are using

By the way best smoothness of kernel can be achieved using GoodBye ROM v1.1 (smooth scrolling minimalist edition) plus this kernel. I Hope I will have time to release an updated GoodBye ROM soon, as 1.1 is quite old already

Concerning OC up to 1,4 Ghz: Now that I fixed the OC scaling bug, this will of course be possible. In the final release

Skype call testing with screen off have to make it sound clips if max screen off frequency is set to minimal.
