Thanks, I am watching Fringe over streaming and have been able to duplicate this now. However, I am now testing the "Generic" kernel on the stock ROM (same source, but with the conditional compile) and I don't have this issue thus far. I will continue testing to see if this is the case. If I can't make it break with the generic kernel, then I should be able to narrow down where the issue lies.
