I finally got it to work!
Here are the steps I took, I hope it helps.
1. Made a nand
2. Used Scott's 10x wipe.
3. Did a fresh install of the Rom that I'm using(rezrom 3.4) including the kernel
4. Used v.1(for ics windows), it took about three times to get the timing right.
5. It said it was "rebooting to bootloader" but it went to recovery for some reason.
6. I rebooted my phone from recovery, the program found my phone and finished.
7. I had to flash the internal sd fix from the op.
8. All is good and s-off.

I hope this helps, I had been working on it for ten hours before I got it.

I am thinking about taking the plunge to unlock the bootloader and do S-off. Anyway, for those having problems with v2 is it just for the people on the ICS leaks or is it for anyone?

Right now I am 100% stock so I am still doing a little research before I go for it. I came from two Samsung phones which were MUCH easier to root but I wasn't happy with the file system or the crappy radios they had.

That means you did not get the timing of the wire trick quite right...
Just close and restart ControlBear. It should right away prompt you to do the wire trick again.

v0.2 often causes problems with the backup step. See my previous post at

I saw that the v0.1 file that was re-posted was for ICS though, which is why I thought it may have been more for the ICS folks.

Default Can't Mount Internal_sdcard on recovery

Hi Guys,
After doing everything to get s-off, now in recovery when I try mount the internal sdcard it doesn't mount, it say; Can't mount /internal_sdcard.
I already try Amon Ra Recovery and Clockwork recovery and still same problem.
Any help?

Thanks

I am sseriously considering attempting s-off!! But a quick question, I am running CleanRom 4.3 with old firmware patch.

My question would be would I use v.01 or v.02?

That's because it has the ics hboot. It doesn't matter if you're on GB. Just don't flash the hboot and you're good.
