i am sure, you don't have to wait much longer
i could not reproduce this till now, but i also was reading about this at semaphore thread (i think it was there). maybe it is something like the "hello hello" bug from cm7. idk

0.74? Did I missed it?
Derteufel, can you please add blx?

Got those reboots two times. But since i set arm voltage on 100mhz to 1100 mv it didnt happen until now. But report back if it happen again. Other than that the test kernel is really stable and battery friendly. So thx again to devil for your f**kingtastic kernel

To me (the) sound issues (I was talking about) happened until last week. I always store my music on the external_sd and listen to it on my way to the university, sometimes it gave me a heart attack cause it always hits you unexpected.

It was loud and ugly and caused the music to stop, only happened to me when screen off. In the majority of cases it also corrupted the file, after a few days the lost.dir folder carried about 150mb of garbage First I thought it was related to the external sd, its nearly 2 years old so I formatted it... nothing changed. Then I thought: kernel issue. Went back to stock (cm9 nightly) --> still issues. Later I thought I solved the issue by switching back from conservative to ondemand gov, it went well 2 or 3 days until the issues returned. On another attempt to format, the sdcard finally broke and could not be recognized by any of my devices anymore. So I guess my external_sd was the problem all along.

Until my new card arrives, I have saved some music on the internal sd and it plays without any issue.

------

Is there already news related to the new nightly from cm9 (0422)? pawitp switched sdcard and emmc in there, but if you flash it, everything remains like it was before due tu a "standard setting for samsung users". Only if you (like me) flash a custom kernel (lets say this one ) directly after the nightly, everything installed to sdcard vanishes. I hope you will also change the standard setting like pawitp mentiones here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=923

The default preference to swap is stored in the ramdisk in the kernel which is lost if you switch kernel (and so internal SD mounts as /emmc).

battery life is more poor than semaphore 1.0.1s for me
so I quit this kernel for the moment but thanks anyway DerTeufel for your work.

maybe come back if you make a very slim kernel that can disable bluetooth or others radios and make a virtual cache like others.

@DerTeufel Will you include swap feature in next non-test version? Many people reported of a better multitasking. I hope it comes soon, seems that everybody downloads the test versions when they're out .

Wouldn't setting the 100 Mhz voltage higher be counter-productive to deep idle battery saving feature?
