Hi,
I have official ics on arc s, since I've installed this, my phone doesn't have offline charging, it just bootloops until I disconnect charger and naturally turn phone on or I restart using cwm menu.
Can you get offline charging working on ics Rom?

extract and use root explorer or similar to replace the one in system/bin/

Hello, this file only serves with CWM Auto-Installer??? I have CWM installed with SE Extreme Tweak Installer 1.8.
Do you have a problem? If so try it and report back.

offline charging will not workj without a patch i am working on tho. the charger file is different.
See the last page for a fix till i fix it.

Thanks! Does that mean there will be an update for this on the market? Any chance you can make the "Reboot into Recovery" option work on ICS?

Your cwm is the only reason why i got back to GB from ICS,fail to install this after a few attempts with ICS,lt15i,rooted,locked bootloader,don't know where I got this wrong,however if you somehow know a method of getting this into ICS as easy as it is with GB(which I guess it is easy from reading other peoples comments,but it is just not happening for me),I will not hesitate to get to ICS again..

How can I uninstall this? I have an unlocked bootloader so may as well flash the stock ICS/CWM kernel...

OK, after reading the entire thread apparently uninstalling isn't easy so I'm going to re-flash just the ICS system using Flashtool, flash the ICS CWM kernel and start over...

i have mk16i (SE Xperia Pro) with this baseband : 4.0.1.A.0.283 rooted
Is anybody can help me to install cwm or xrecovery without unlock bootloader in this device ??
when i istall this app in version 1.0 shows this:
and this app (v4.0) shows:
in this version(v4.0) two part added (4th,5th) items.
and the 4th item that say : REBOOT INTO RECOVERY
is that safe and possible to running this item for my device or not?

Yes it does,official or not doesn't really matter when it does what you actually want it to do, but, I think you have to root your phone using doomlord method, because my first attempt on putting this into my phone with someone else's root just didn't work out.Somehow,my theory could be wrong, but I'm telling based on my experience.

So We've been Busy yet again
And we are proud to re-release This Tool.
All New UI that uses the ActionBarSherlock framework to give full Holo theme + Action Bar to devices pre ICS
To support more phones i have had to change the way the app works.
(OLD VERSIONS AVAILABLE IN ATTACHMENTS)
What it does now
1 - Check your phone model and compare it to a list of supported devices.
2 - If you phone is supported you can pick any of the supported CWM versions for you phone.
3 - When you click install it will download the CWM "recovery.tar" to your SD-card .
4 - Build you a "chargemon" file to match you phone.
5 - Take the charger + sh file from within the app.
6 - It then backs all the previous files up to the SD-Card and moves all the files to system as needed.
7 - if there are no problems then it is done and CWM is installed(into system)

1-Click Enable of Init.d support for locked Bootloaders / Stock Kernels

also if there is no compatibility issues the app does not need to be updated to add phones / recoveries. I can do it all server side.
This App will work with the Sony Xperia porfolio. it will install CWM into the system partition so you can use recovery even with a locked bootloader!
Usage
Launch the Application,
Swipe Between Tabs or Pick Tabs
Let it detect your phones setup
Press Install and CWM will be installed into your system.
To access recovery simply, reboot phone and press any key on boot at the Sony Ericsson logo, when the notification LED turns Blue. or use the "reboot to recovery" button from within the app.

Currently there are 2 recoveries that are able to be installed
2.3.* Roms
5.0.2.7 for GB Roms (nobodyAtall) [link]

5.5.0.4 Recovery for ICS Based ROMS (pvyParts)

all i did was bundle it into a nice easy installer. ( i also made some changes to the chargemon file to turn the LED on to signal when to pres your keys )

i saw it, just saying
Offence aside.
This app requires you to know how to use your phone and thats it.
No need to get your pc talking to your phone in debug mode
this can be quite hard for some ppl especialy if you use pc's at a library or a iCafe ect. or have a PC that has broken bits. or maybe your usb port is broken. i think you get the point.
kindly point me to where these apps do this and i will be more than happy apologise.
Comments like yours are why developers leave phones and never come back. maybe keep that in mind. just saying you know.

No offense but you may have noticed that this in an app, it works without PC, directly from your phone.
It uses nAa files, exactly like the tools you mentioned. Only it makes it easier. Sorry about that...
