I dont think anyone responded when I asked a while ago. But what is the tethering patch that was available for the first release and is included in this one? Also, what does it do?
My Devices:
Galaxy Nexus / HP TouchPad (Both on Jelly Bean)
Droid X2
Palm Pre Plus
Palm Centro
Everything before that doesn't matter.

I'm wondering if this was part of the problem? I'm reflashing CM7 RC1 right now. Will let everyone know when I'm done if it fixes my problem with disappearing apps.

UPDATE: Okay, the issue appears to have been that my SD card had errors on it causing it to be mounted read only, or at least it appeared to be mounted read only. Running a full chkdsk on it from windows has cleared up the problem.

Thanks to everyone who made suggestions.
For reference, where was it set to read only?

It wasn't set to read only other than probably because it sensed there were errors on the SD card. Once I did the check disk and fixed the errors, it was no longer read only. How and where it was set is beyond me.

It's strange though. Every time I reboot now, it screws things up and I have to reboot about 5 or 6 times before all my apps show up again.

Maybe tonight, I'll SBF back to 2.3.4 again and reflash. Just not sure what the issue is.
I've noticed sluggishness on my phone since getting to the latest. I did a complete wipe 3 but then a nand back up/restore. Still sluggish. My buddy did a complete rebuild from scratch and notices the same. Almost seems like it slightly pauses from time to time.

Have you or anyone noticed anything like that? (or are you just happy to have your SD card apps back)

Nothing more than what I've experienced before. In my case though, I came from Eclipse 2.1, but this version of CM7 seems just as snappy as the previous version.

he only issue I am having is with DSP but I think everyone is having issues with it. I thought about formatting my SD card and SBF'ing back to stock and loacding RC1 and seeing if this improves performance at all.
