I appreciate your help! #90 is the same one I downloaded before (which was working fine). I downloaded #98 directly on the tablet. I tried both recoveries with same results.

once you have splash screen push power and volume up to reboot. Wait 3 seconds after you see motor logo and push volume down to enter recovery. Push volume up to select recovery. I just wiped davlik cache before flashing kernels.

Hope this helps........also nightly 89 has the old kernel before they upgraded to 3.0.14

You need to unmount it in settings/storage before you unplug it... just like on a "real" computer.

Apart from this, do NOT accept OTAs after rooting! It installs a new ROM and the least that can happen is that you loose your root status...

The correct steps would be:

1 root your xoom (your step 3), and go to recovery.

There:

2 factory reset
3 wipe cache
4 wipe dalvik-cache
5 wipe (format) system
6 flash eos 93
7 flash gapps
8 reboot

It's the same on mine. I wiped too, cause I updated to the gapps that came out this week. I don't use it though so I'm not overly bothered.

Yeah your right silly faces is working on previous gapps but not on 22.4.12
