figured out why ZTE's market never worked; seems it was taken down. will be removed in next release.

Yes I can do that.
But how do I copy that file from your app folder?
I own a LG Optimus 7.
It is rooted, I can copy/paste the file with a file broweser editor, but no idea how to extract it from the phone. Any suggestion?

i was going to suggest using WPV App Data Backup, but it seems i saved the Backups in the wrong location... (will fix in next release)
so,
you can use TouchXperience or WMDC Launcher. the backup is saved at....
Code:
\Applications\Install\A425BB14-2EE5-4220-A820-69B9F0FBE8B7\Install\!SavedDefault\

Ok thanks,
I am not a big fan of TouchXperience and WMDC Laucher doesn't work for me.
I'll wait for next release then :(

you can also use Root Webserver (see my sig) to easily get files off the phone. Requires use of WP7 Root Tools (appears in the list as "Webserver (HtcRoot)" but your phone probably ins't compatible with the HtcRoot project to just mark it as trusted in WP7 Root Tools).
Win8/Windows RT Projects:
EnableFlash script
List of desktop apps for hacked RT devices

WP7 projects:
XapHandler, Root Webserver, OEM Marketplace XAPs, Bookmarklets collection (Find On Page), Interop-unlock hacks.

I extracted the file I wanted to edit by using the Explorer utility in WP7RootTools to copy the file to the "My Documents" folder, and renamed the extension to docx. From there I could simply go into the Office Hub, where the file was now listed, and emailed the file to myself.
