Default benefit?????

What is the benefit to flashing to the .22?? Versus just doing patch? Firmware that is....

Depends on who you talk to. Some people say the ics radios are better and some say gb. I updated to the leak then when i got s-off went back to the gb firmware and used the patch.

this is correct... it really depends on your geographic profile... one set of radios may provide better signal, battery life and less heat ... you got to test both sets and see what works best for you

this has always been the case even when i was on windows mobile devices

Not sure if it's just me but I noticed Polaris is in the ROM zip in /data/app but it didn't actually install when I flashed the ROM. I don't really use that app but I wanted to point it out in case there are those that do.
