please try if this mod works for you, have modified the script and compiled against the i9000 framework.

make a backup, wipe cache and dalvik-cache and flash with cwm or recovery !

(if the flash doesnt work for you, try to copy/push the apk in the zip with a file explorer or adb to /system/app.)
