If you were having it drop like crazy before then go ahead and switch to another kernel like N.E.A.K. and mess with the tweaks in CWM for battery.
Also make sure to check for wakelocks in Better Battery Stats.

thanks for the quick reply. I did switch from siyah to N.E.A.K. because of wakelocks and just all around not agreeing with my phone. Im doing much better now on N.E.A.K. with AFTR on. Guess I'll just try the new base and find out like everyone else

When I start to dial a number, contacts force closes. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. V18 upgraded from V17. I did clear data on "Contacts" and "Contacts Storage" then let my contacts resync and all works fine now.

Flash the ROM, booted, then flashed jthatch's megamod mentioned earlier in the thread and remove swipetounlock

The remove swipe to unlock probably did it. And or it was jtach. Reflash the rom.

u people just dont learn.... really im 15 and i picked this up pretty easily... if ur having problems with a new base wipe and reflash. problem persist use search bar. cant find it on search. download adb then run log through fc and get all that into a text file then post with an attachment of the text file. isnt self sufficiency fun? please dont make me link video...

and mystic stop spoonfeeding people and put those steps in ur op or at least say if u have probs with a base wipe and reflash. u goon.

last step if all else fails... Blame optimus and call it a day.

Howtomoen my solution doesn't require a complete wipe. All that was wiped was contacts which resync's in minutes. Complete wipe will get any other smaller issues but then again mystic already put that in the main post.
