i forgot that note about this
im change using the ext4 driver for the ext2/3 too after the 18th version, so i revert back this. the 17h version have the ext2/3 driver too and the ext4 separated.
maybe that was the problem, hmmm.

i can't imagine how the fs stuff should be the problem when the "stock" version works fine. i see it like... what is the exact difference between "stock" and "oc"? the issue must be there for my logic.

i hoped that i can give you anything to read, so i pulled some logcat files while i tried to boot, and there is never ever any error message which tells anything. just some app related warnings and stuff like that.
and every logcat file stops at random positions, that also explains the different stucks.

the interesting thing: when i have my usb cable on it, to get the logcats the boot process seems to be more successfull... it keeps longer without freezing. now i also had the pin screen for 2 times. (maybe the phone tells me that way... "now i finally have enuff power to give all the requested voltage to the cpu" ? just an idea)

i forgot to say: the 17h build doesnt change anything for me.

Mine got stuck for 3 minutes on LG Bluish logo with 1204261736-ETaNa_OC_DS_OTF-3.0.y build. Then I I removed the battery and reinstalled 1204181217. It lasted a while for booting but everything went like before after installing 120426 kernel.

Last ROM: moon101 MIUI 2.3.2
Last Kernel Vadonka 1204181217-ETaNa_OC_DS_OTF-3.0.y.zip

Same here with 1204261736-ETaNa_OC_DS_OTF-3.0.y build.Phone has problem booting.Back to 18th of april.I was thinking...Which is the difference between 18th of april and the other?Can you make kernels adding only one option each time?This will help finding the problem i think.Is there a way for noobs to trace - debug the procedure of booting so we can spot the problem?

2.6.32.y weird problem randomly sdcdard not mounting

Hi there,

I got Temasek's CM7 ROM with his kernel, everything was working very fine for a while. Then I decided to install the 2.6.32y LOC Lite kernel, and now my phone randomly doesn't mount the SDcard after booting. Then a reboot is needed, and sometimes another, before it mounts the SDcard.

After booting, when I see the screen to enter the PIN, in the top left corner "preparing sdcard" is shown for two to three short times right after eachother. I know it's normal that this is displayed, but I don't know if it's normal that it appears for two to three short times.

I flashed back Temasek's kernel, but the issue remains....

You guys any idea? Thanks.

12.04.23 OC initially booted for me but was unstable, with random reboots. 12.04.18 OC booted fine and am running 12.04.25 OC now...
