I am glad that Racinwarrior brought these issues up... I was afraid that I was the only one who wanted to play his music through his home speakers while I am at work. Other than the issues that Racinwarrior brought up and the fact that the new ROM will not print money for me... I have to say it's very solid for a beta.

I do have to say I think ever since I Ruu'd back to GB ,then ran this rom using the old firmware patch my battery life has been excellent. Granted it wasn't alot of screen on time since I was at work, but same usage as normal for me. I see a big difference in battery than when I was on the leaked RUU.

yours doesnt print money??? mine does just fine. maybe you should wipe 63 times and reflash 13 times while singing all three versions of the yellow brick road from the wizard of oz. seemed to work for me....

on a serious note....my battery while on this ROM was pretty stellar

On a side note, any of you guys know how to hide this annoying gps icon in the status bar? All my gps options in the settings are turned off except that 911 one.

Open maps and search for NASA, pre fetch that area And the recticle will disappear.

What the hell did you do to this ROM bored? I just got 36 hours with 35% left on a standard battery with leaked firmware. Most of it was standby time, but that is the best battery life I've ever gotten...ever! One more thing, I was having heat issues but never got above 85F on your ROM. Thanks bored! (I really am curious what you changed to make it use virtually no battery with the screen off :D)

Sorry for the lack of support yesterday. Was high on back meds. Prob going back today. gonna flash 1.2 as soon as it downloads and see how long it takes me to break it.

Don't know about tapatalk but in xda app just hit the page button (in between the change page arrows) and from there you can select the range of posts u would like to see...

    Install a custom recovery. It is reported that CWM is having periodic issues with certain code formats in the update-script. With that being said, I highly recommend using Amon RA Style Recovery with this ROM.

    • Download RezROM from the link below. If you are S-ON, download RezROM_S4_S-ON_Kernel_Installer.zip as well.

    • CHECK THE MD5 AFTER PLACING ON YOUR SDCARD. Windows user can download md5 checksum shell extension.

    • Reboot your device into recovery mode.

    • I recommend a wipe for this installation. A lot has changed.

    • Install the ROM in recovery. S-OFF users simply reboot. S-ON USERS DO NOT REBOOT. Now flash S4 Kernel Installer zip which will reboot your to bootloader to finish the process.

    • Enjoy and consider buying me a cup of coffee :)

    How to upgrade your firmware:

    ​

    1. Download the 3.11.605.22 Leaked RUU: LINK MD5 = 58b0f42defc689650ddd5128f195dc7d
    2. Rename the RUU to "PH98IMG.zip"
    3. Copy the renamed RUU to the root of your external SD Card.
    4. Re-lock the bootloader.
    • Open a DOS prompt and change directory to the folder where you have fastboot.exe

    • Reboot to bootloader

    • Type "fastboot oem lock" (No Quotes) while you are in bootloader (fastboot usb).
    5. Reboot to bootloader again via recovery menu.
    • The bootloader will begin to scan the PH98IMG.zip - This will take awhile

    • When it asks if you want to update press volume up for yes.

    • The update will make the first pass - This will take awhile as well

    • The phone will reboot and sit on the white HTC screen - DO NOT freak out once again "this will take awhile"

    • When it is done it will reboot back to fastboot mode.

    • Make sure "Bootloader" is highlighted and then press the power button to run the second pass of the install - once again "this will take awhile :)" - watch the screen to verify ok next to each partition

    • Once complete press the power button to reboot.

    • Your device will now begin booting on the newly installed Leaked RUU
    6. Once booted skip everything in setup
    7. Proceed to http://htcdev.com/ to unlock the bootloader - Unlock keys do expire so you may need to request a new key.
    8. Install the custom recovery of your choice.
    9. Flash RezROM as instructed above.    ​
