Default [Q] adb drivers problem

Hiya everyone! Former Galaxy S2 user here, and now rocking this baby!

as it normally goes... i have a problem ( no **** sherlock ? )

I, for the fu** of me, can't install adb drivers on my pc, no matter what I try...
I'm using Win7 home premium.
Fastboot drivers install well and they always connect, but no matter what I try , the adb ones wont...

Tried mskip's GNEX toolkit method - didn't work
Tried 1wayjonnys universal naked driver - didn't work
Tried pdanet thingy - won't recognize phone - didn't work
Tired manually installing samsung drivers - didn't work

I'm kinda running out of options here, and my head is starting to hurt. Anyone got any clue of what I might be doing wrong ?

Uninstall the drivers you used, and use 1wayjonny's universal naked driver.

1) Download the driver and extract the files to a directory;
2) Boot your device normally, and plug it into your PC (using a good USB cable, like the one that came with your GNex);
3) Open device manager and find your device - it should have a yellow exclamation point beside it;
4) Right-click on it and select Update Driver, and select choose location (or whatever the option is to install it manually, not automatically);
5) Navigate to the folder where you extracted 1wayjonny's driver and select it.
6) Done.
I do NOT answer technical questions via PM. Post in a thread.
