I tried a sandisk 16gb class 2 that i've had for a while and had serious slowdowns, especially on entering the passcode (5 second wait sometimes)

I then tried a 32gb class 10 adata card which worked excellently for a while but then gave random crashes, seemingly the more I filled the card the worse it got....

Now using a sandisk class 4 16gb 80% filled with no problems, but a noticable speed drop...

Yep, I have also slow downs due to the new SD card. I have a SanDisk 32GB Class 4. With it, youtube videos are heavily stuttering when streaming. Installation of apps also take longer. Quite annoying...

Sounds like you bought the same one that I just did: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820171487. WPBench gave me 1-2MB/sec speeds on that card, compared to 7-8MB/sec on the stock card. It took forever to install apps, and then it took forever to load them once they were installed. I'm returning the card to Newegg because those speeds are unacceptably low.

I stopped by my local Fry's Electronics today and picked up one these Samsung cards instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIA12K0932091. So far, so good. I'm getting 9-10MB/sec in WPBench and the OS feels snappier than it did with the stock card. Still not Class 10 speeds, but I'll take the small bump in performance anyway.

You are right, it is the same ^^ Some are getting system crashes with high class SD cards. So, I'm at the moment not so sure wether I should buy one of these. Is your device stable with it?

It's been over 24 hours since I installed the 32GB Samsung card and I've had zero problems. The upgrade was a success!

I also bought it today (luckily it was available at a local store) and it is really a big difference in speed. I think I will convert my old 32GB card into an USB stick.

I started to have random crashes with SanDisk 16gb class 2 card. When using SMS, sometimes opening the phone and starting to type really fast results to phone boot. I ordered the Samsung 32gb class 10 card people seem to have good results.

It looks like the 32Gb Samsung is on sale at Fry's this weekend and if no one else has had any issues with it I may pick one up.

Installed the Samsung 32gb class 10 card today... The whole device is wayyyy faster now, than with the SanDisk 16gb class 2 card I installed previously. New card seems to be working great, I will report back if any problems appear.

Have been going about 6mths with SanDisk 32Gb class 4. Now getting random crashes and "memory card errors". Looks like card has failed over time. Anyone else?
