msm7x30 is only the SoC.

Just because it's the same SoC, it doesn't help much.

Heck, think of all the tablets on Tegra 2 - if that were the case my Galaxy Tab would have ICS by now seeing as the Xoom's source code has been avalibale for a looooooong time!

One thing to note though - HTC have confirmed that our DHD's will get ICS, so we are Guaranteed to have feature perfect ROM's as soon as HTC deliver - it just depends on when that might be. I could be tommorow or it could be next year!

We just have to be patient...
