Htc desire s
More ram(768),one v has 512
They have the same cpu and they both are single core phones
768 mb of are useful,so i think you can buy a desire s and wait for a kernel 3.0
Our sense 4 roms are better
This phone already has s-off and a lot of custom roms
A good recovery and you can overclock the phone if you want the same clock of the one v

Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium

+1.

Biy why would you want to overclock the ds to match the one v...? Both are running at 1 ghz by default anyway....

Sent from a Desire S waiting for kernel v3. Wake up HTC!!!

Nope buddy, you got those stats wrong. Its actually a lower version of the DS, with less ram and no front camera. Plus it's clocked to the same 1 ghz as the ds. The only 1.5 ghz single core device currently marketed by HTC is the sensation xl...
