Default [Q] proximity sensor fix

Hi,
I'm using an xpiria mini st15i, a few days ago i updated the firmware to 062, and since then my screen goes off during call and never goes on again until i take out the battery and switch the phone on.
Someone told me it's a firmware problem so i downgraded the phone back to 042, but the problem persists.
I read on this site that it's a problem with the proximity sensor, so i downloaded the proximity sensor fix...but what am i supposed to do with it now?
i'd appreciate any help and instructions...

thanks!

before you can have CWM, your phone needs to be either rooted or has an unlocked bootloader.
if phone is rooted with locked bootloader, follow this thread to install CWM.
if phone has an unlocked bootloader just flash a kernel with root and CWM.
you can try this thread. or x kernel on my signature.
