Your kernels are pretty great when it comes to battery life.. but they always run really hot on my phone.. even 384ghz. So I can't run them as much as I'd like...

Okay, been trying every nightly since r.116 up to r.143 and even Milestone 3 with Liquid 1.25/1.3 and, for me, by far the best powersaving kernel is r.121.
I get a 1% drop every 2 hrs in standby and even when using the phone it doesnt drain my battery fast, I get no lags or any other strange issues, really nice job.
This with 384/1344MHz cpu, 512MHz gpu, hotplug governor and SR on, autobrightness on.

Just shows that every Nexus is different. Thought I'd share this for those interested.

Franco, please keep up the good work and dont let them get to you.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus ---> MinCo v4 with Franco M5+ XXLF1

HTC HD2 aka Leo (in desperate need of repair) ---> NDT MIUI 2.3.7 DEVELOPMENT stable 6.0

Nokia N95 8GB, backup phone, 5 years old, still going strong.

I also use r121 512mhz at the moment, want to compare to M3. I actually think I get less drain during deep sleep with r121. Have been using CM9 lately, went back to AOKP (b34) yesterday.

M3 is performing well for me so far, usual weekend testing has started so I'll report back direct comparison with OC nightly in due course.

Current status is a little over 1hr screen on time and 84% battery so the maths is looking good!
