So i reinstalled everything without the data2sd script and it works well now.

Same here, no idea why it runs so slow

You need to state the following clearly. What rom, how did U make partition, how did u flash it. Basically the main stuff u used and what u did before. It went wrong.

Question
excellent tutorial! thanks.

---------- Post added at 01:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:42 PM ----------

just looking for some clarification as to when you do the data2sd process - after i install a custom rom? i have unlocked the bootloader via htcdev, i have flashed the recovery rom....

so i can now flash a custom rom and then got through the data2sd process??

thanks.

Install rom first, boot the phone and wait for it to fully setup, then reboot to recovery and flash data2whatever. Done.

Wasn't me............ ;)

think there is a problem with the last step. i flashed data2whatever, seems to have installed. i partitioned sdcard using minitool, 8gb card -> 1.5gb ext3 and rest extended fat32.

when i look at settings / storage -> it shows as Total space 7.6GB...
