for the 300 and it makes me worry. does it occasionally crash or freeze? sounds like it would be even worse than my current xperia play? could anyone please shed some light on the matter

Sounds exactly like what I've been experiencing with mine for the past few days, the flickering, app freezing, and extreme sluggishness in the stock browser and Chrome. Chrome is almost unusable on some websites like bikerumor.com and crashes often. I didn't experience this kind of behavior with the Prime I had.

I guess I didn't notice it before you mentioned it but yeah, it happens to me in the browser recently where it will get stuck while loading a page then tell me it is not responding and whether I want to wait or close. I select to wait and it will start working again, but yeah, it is a little annoying.

sounds awful. Are you sure you don't have a faulty unit or something? Puts me off buying one kinda to be honest.

Also, can things like that sluggishness be fixed in updates or not?

Question:

Whomever (or is it whoever) has the keyboard dock for the TF300 can you tell me why the 1 & 6 keys have a white circle our the number.

Is it some kind of function key?

Thanks
