hi anyone having new a60 model just take recovery b ackup using adt and give me plz it will be very helpful for new a60 users who cant flash roms

Hey Bro I am having some issue flashing Jet 2.1. I have rooted the device, installed the busy box, flashed the modded recovery. When the reboot the phone in recovery mode, it does goes in the recovery mode but shows the a log "E: Failed to find cache partition to mount at "/cache"
E:Cant mount/cache/recovery/last_log
E:cant open/cache/recovery/last_log
E:Failed to find cache partition to mount at cache.

Then i try to install zip from sd card, choose zip from sd card select Jet 2.1.zip. It ends up at.
assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img","boot")
E:Error in sdcard/installations/Jet 2.1.zip (status 7).
Installation aborted.

That's a known issue
It has been come to our knowledge that phones manufactures after 2012 have a different kernel offset
So to resolve that a new recovery is build by a senior member ngage_me
So I request you to wait till arrival of the same

i installed this rom succesfully..
but it is not detecting my SD card..
whenever i open any file manager or media app it says SD card not mounted or busy..
plz help..

Hey Varun, i bought this phone in Feb 2012,but i guess its manufactured in 2011. the kernel is .29 for sure.
Is there any way to check and confirm if it really requires a new recovery. pls pm me your phone number i would discuss with you over the phone.

hello varun,
its superfast but i have following issues..

1.battery drains fast(if in 3G,its superfast drain)
2.changing 2G-3G toggle missing
3.its always asking netlock key..i cant enter into main menu..(MAIN ISSUE)
4.usb not recognizing sometimes,mostly if mobile switched off n then on..i cant find the usb tethering.
5.while startup i got some coloured lines before claro logo appear..its annoying..
6.some of the compatible(2.2) applications not installing from market..i cant install GO LOCKER..its saying not compatible..

plz take care of the issue when u release jet2.2..i'm looking forward

Hi varun....this sounds interesting.But i have one question can you please clarify it.What if i want to revert back to my original rom(which is eclair company installed)Do i have to do some special tweaks for it or after applying your rom if i want to revert back can i simply factory reset the phone?and get my original phone back???

You will have to flash back the stock ROM.

Dear Varun and Other Senior members,
When i try to install jet 2.1 via update.zip (renamed) after
1. factory reset
2. wipe cache
3. Apply update

Error received is Signature verification failed.
E:/ cannot find MISC

Kindly guide me via easy steps as how to do the same as i am a NO Vice. Also if i require any other software kindly guide me on same too.
