Default [Q] AOKP no longer supporting Galaxy Tab 8.9?

The last two AOKP relases (release 34 and now the latest milestone) offer no love for Galaxy Tab 8.9. Anyone know the reason for this?

no idea why. i posted in their forums over at rootzwiki and asked why 8.9 is no longer supported.
i hope we get back an official release.
otherwise team soup are releasing their brand of aokp so we are not completely left out. still an official release would be nice...

"Official" response from beeblebrox one of the aokp devs:

No, I don't believe support has been officially dropped.
I'm not entirely sure why the BuildBot hasn't been building for this device.

I know there have been some conversations in our IRC channel about this. Seems the original maintainer has been absent for a bit. I believe Roman has been talking with a group that wants to take over maintaining this, just need to sort out all the parties, etc.
