Ya I was at a Verizon store to get my phone replaced because one of the 4 bottom LEDs was completely out. Sat ther for 15 minutes while the Verizon employee tried to reboot his computer. Then as he was getting the new rezound he tried to tell me to get a gzexus. Told me it has gorilla glass. I said it didn't then he admitted that he really didn't know much about phones. You have to understand that Verizon employees are mainly salesmen not technical brains. This is true in many cases.

Also when I got the first device the Verizon employee spent around 10 minutes trying to open the phone and inser the sim card sdcard and the battery.

WOW, so this was my problem the whole time?

When I first got the phone, I activated my sim, everything worked fine. Then I flashed the latest RUU and for some reason could NOT get the data to work whatsoever.... was on the phone with verizon for atleast 2 hours. Flashed the RUU like 3 more times with still no success. I finally flashed a rom and then it worked somehow...

I guess I managed to put the battery cover on after I flashed the rom I wanted... Even when it started working I thought it just started working because of the rom I installed. LOL never knew it was because I had the battery cover off the entire time I was trying to just run the stock RUU, lol.

The guy I was talking with on the phone also told me to keep the battery cover off too since we would be pulling the battery in and out along with the SIM card. I guess verizon needs to start educating their employees

DONATE TO ME
That's weird. With the battery cover off I get absolutely no signal at all. No big deal I guess. Pop it back on and I get great service.

If I helped in any way, please hit the "Thanks" button!
