1. Phone on USB Debugging mode
2. Make sure the Android drivers for your phone are installed
3. Plug in USB cable, DO NOT mount your SD card.
4. Click "SuperOneClick.exe" on PC (right click, run as administrator)
5. Click Root

Is that right? Does the batch of SOC files need to be at PC root or can they be anywhere? Just want all my eggs in the right basket before trying this.
Just did it on Windows 7 64 bit. Step 2 is not needed. SuperOneClick 2.3.3 will ask you to install drivers. Just allow it. Took a few minutes but was simple.

Samsung Galaxy Player 5
Nook Color - cyanogen mod (Android Gingerbread)

I have the Galaxy Player 5.0 YP-G70 and I can't root this with SuperOneClick any version. I tried the zergRush-Doomlord rooting kit too (since basically SuperOneClick also runs the same thing i guess) and it tells me: Read-Only File System ! I tried making it Read-Write but it doesn't work, any ideas guys?

PS: My device is 2.3.6 updated via Kies from 2.2.2 Froyo!

Hi guys, how did you overcame problem with "No space left on device"? I read the whole thread, but didn't find solution for it. The same happened to me when I used SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse for rooting Froyo 2.2.2 (G70XXKD6).
