Sim Issue

Has anyone had an issue with the 7.0.3 and 6.3.2 roms suddenly saying that there is no sim card found, and it only gives you the options to reboot or power down? I flashed the Super Wipe, did a clean install, and restored app only (no data) and this occured about 20 minutes later. I reboot and it still happens, sometimes immediately, and sometimes after a few minutes. I even switched around radios and matching ril's just in case.

I was angry because I thought it was a hardware issue because it is doing this with every Sense 3.0 and 3.5 rom I try. Strange thing is, this never occurs with cm7 or ics aosp or aokp. It's only with Sense roms. Does anybody possible have any insight to this?

Your SIM card could be corrupt, though it's odd that you only have the problem with Sense ROMs.

Indeed, it's very strange. Maybe sense roms need to access it differently than others, and my card is messed up in that aspect? What do you think?
I have a new unused sim card lying around somewhere. Might just try that.

It sounds like your SIM card or your bottom door have an issue...

Little tip how to disable facebook camera and messenger icons:

adb shell
pm disable com.facebook.katana/com.facebook.katana.activity.media.CameraLauncherActivity
pm disable com.facebook.katana/com.facebook.katana.orca.ThreadListLauncherActivity

Thanks to machx0r for finding this trick! I made a script that will automatically remove those commands, will be included in next ROM release

hi i need ur help!! i dont know what i did but now my phone turned off automaticaly in every rom, for example if i tried to shoot a photo it turn off.. so i think it was Rom problem and i install this one and it shut down again and again...

Bad battery? The only thing the same in all of your tests is the hardware. Does it shut off when you have outside power source connected?

no, it doesnt shut off when its connected, buy if i tried to shoot a photo with flash even when the phone is conected it shut off i have been with this since i installed a sense 3.5 rom

Should we be expecting any more updates to this rom?

Its been a while and 7.0.3 is starting to get "buggy".
On my device its been freezing a lot lately

Looking forward to 7.0.4 as well.

I get random freezes. And some times have to wake the phone up twice.
