Nice update, but performance isn't great. Even if I disable the animated background, the app is obviously running at a fairly low framerate (navigation animations aren't as smooth as the should be).

Any chance of a performance fix in the next version?

Here on my HTC Mozart / Mango it's running fine and very fast. Even the thunderstorm-thing with all those flashes...

Samsung Focus with Mango, and it's not nearly as fast as other apps...

For how simple the UI is with the video turned off, it should NOT be performing this poorly.

Looks good... I want to give my thoughts....I really want to LOVE this app, because I am looking for the perfect app.

1. I like the app itself, it's smooth and well built. Only problem I see is performance on loading. I want GPS to find where I am so I dont have to configure the app. When loading the App, GPS pops up and you wait, 5-6 seconds before it loads. Very slow performance.

May I suggest to load the current results from last update (for a faster load) then reset the display (showing the new results, with stating "updated" across the top). So it would look as it's performing better and I would have results within the last hour anyway....

Live Tile...
It needs some work....
1. It does not match the theme when using custom colors... I posted that on Wpcentral.

2. The Title needs more info, I think WeatherMaster has THE BEST live tile for info. If you had that tile, there would be no question I would buy this app today.

Side 1: Day, last update(smaller text), a cute color graphic of current weater, in larger text current weather, then in smaller today's high and lows
Side 2: Tomorrow's and the day after's high and lows.

3rd party thoughts between these 2....

My wife, she has an iPhone but, love weather apps (she has 3 on her phone alone). I put both live tiles on my home page and I showed here the differences. SHe has not seen any of these apps before. Results.

1. Live Tile: Weather Master
2. App: Amazing Weather

SO, agreeed. I am wondering where to put my money, here or there.

Go go go for the cheaper,.... hehe... all your notes will be considered thanks a lot we will redesign the Live tile to have more information, but the Live tile will match the Color of the phone...!!! as it will get its color from the phone theme..

And as for performance we have submitted an update, it should decrease the time to ~1.5 sec.

As I said, I like your App a lot more but, I like the info on the live tile better on the other app. To be dead honest, I look at the live tile a lot more than I open the app, so I have to think about that usage as most people should.

I look forward to an updated tile, check out the other app to see what I mean. Not looking for you to copy but, you'll see what I am talking about.

And from what I saw, as on 2.3 you didn't have follow GPS location, I had to try other apps and that is what I found.

Post a update when it shows up in the marketplace, I'll check it out.

I really want your app to be perfect, I love it, accept for the info on the live tile (and the not matching custom colors but, you fixed that).

You have a great app, no question, I just wanted to give Honest feedback.

PS. WeatherMaster is $1.99, Your app is $1.29, so they are more...
