if so, change to the location of the files (do an ls to confirm).

type ./fastboot-mac flash boot boot.img

e.g:

Code:
MOOCOW = my compute rname
wakks = my username
Desktop/Android = where my Android stuff is

MOOCOW:~ wakks$ cd Desktop/Android/android-sdk-macosx/custom
MOOCOW:custom wakks$ ls
Unlock_code.bin
adb
boot.img
fastboot-mac
r1-modaco-recovery-clockwork-touch-endeavoru.img
recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.2.7-endeavoru.img
recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.3.1-endeavoru.img
MOOCOW:custom wakks$ ./fastboot-mac flash boot boot.img
That should flash no problem.

I got it to work. Being new to terminal I did not know the correct syntax to run the fastboot command. I used Lee's script but with both your help I was able to enter the command correctly. Thanks!

The steps I followed:
(1) Changed directory to location of the boot.img and fastboot-mac file
(2) ./fastboot-mac flash boot boot.img
(3) ./fastboot erase cache
(4) ./fastboot reboot

In my opinion, no need to make a mod for stuff that can be done easily with an app.

It's not the same thing though. The whole purpose is to minimize the need to open an app hence it being a shortcut. Sometimes there is a urgent need for a flashlight and you can't be bothered opening the app and all that jazz. Holding a button down makes it a lot more convenient. Well looks like I'm just gonna have to wait for a miui release.

I don't get what you want?.....i have added flashlight to my taskbar, and can just drag it into the lockscreen ring to turn it on, or activate it from homescreen by pressing on it, how much easier do you want it?
