Thanks for your replies, phaeton_esc and dragmark.
However I can't seem to get root no matter what I try (which is also the cause of not being able to change the DPI):
- I tried flashing the superuser zip, no go. Superuser disappeared from my installed programs list now.
- I tried reinstalling the ROM three times, tried Tosti Lite and AOKP version.
- Locale is English (U.S.)
I just installed Milestone 5. I ran into an issue, though:
I wasn't able to change my LCD density. Apparently this is being caused by a root issue?
The superuser tool doesn't seem to be able to succesfully give root access.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Sounds to me like a bad install.. Root is working fine and should be..

For me the performance is the same.. maybe the memory management is better on CM9 rom though I am not sure, but setting a max background services limit makes this rom fly just as fast

How can I get Music player (original ICS) installed?
For stock music player search the market for 'android music player'
