Apart from the ics patch it works just the same as windows.
Actually no, at least in my case
I also have similar problems with 0.6.9.1 version under ubuntu 10.04, one ftf stops on 20% other stops on XY% and throws some red error(don't remember which one).
Both .ftf files are flashed ok under win7.
That's why I asked him.
Yeah age of os and how upto date it is are very relevant to a dynamic software project, now I would expect a version of the same age or that first worked on there to still work, but not necessarily updated releases.
Besides an os as easy as ubuntu to update, with a six monthly release cycle, if you use third party repos will be lagging behind as although canonical do LTS the tp and community repos don't. And your two years is just up so even if you wanted paid support you would be out of luck.
That log is not complete, flashtool had not finished, the patch is only necessary for ics.
Try again and just leave it a little longer don't have a copy of the log to hand but it should disconnect then detect in flash mode
Also run as admin is recommended for w7, if this fails uninstall the drivers reboot and try again.

I cant post links so I write the ABOUT section of my neo:
Ok from that looks like the system.sin failed to flash, have you checked the md5 of the ftf. Was that as admin?
pull the battery, do not try and turn on try to flash just the system partition by unchecking everything else

Sorry for my english understanding and for the questions i do, Im so noob...
No, if you've used sus your fine, but if you see that error when flashing that'd be what to do.
What version are you now on if 62 and you want root you will need to down grade.
