s-pen is a core touchwiz framework app, and touchwiz apps cant be ported to cm9 framework , so we would need to use alternate s-pen related apps

Because it's a proprietary app with proprietary resources which are not available (closed-source)

Same thing with ICS kernels, we could not do anything about them unless Samsung releases their sources or get an open source kernel, which can't be done for S-memo app
