Mobile Odin or just flashing a GB kernel MAY be safe but you do that at YOUR OWN RISK..
They are making it very clear to FLASH TO GB VIA PC ODIN.
Damn, my confidence just went down the toilet..guess this means I have to be on a ticking time bomb till my PC comes back from ITS burnt motherboard repair..
can anyone make this theme http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1620990 for our note?
i think thats make our cm9 more awessome...
sorry if i'm out of topic...

Personally I flashed a GB kernel in recovery from leaked ICS kernel and then flashed cm9 and it worked but obviously i choose to take the risk and it worked out for me..By doing that though you are still risking brick because it will used the leaked kernel to flash the GB kernel..
I used this guide to install this CM9:

So you used a gb kernel.correct?
By the way for safety i always prefer developer's guide

1 Yes1- kernel in CM9 is made by CM9 devs ?
2- google apps ? any link for the latest GAPPs searching like crazy couldn't find
5- camera is it taking 8MB shots ?
has any one changed their density settings on this rom. I changed mine to 240 and now my chrome browser won't even open, can someone post what a good value for density is around th 240 mark.
This is a problem with Chrome, not with the ROM. You need to downgrade versions of Chrome and set it not to auto-update. Let me see if I can find the link.
Can anyone be kind and post a mirror of gapps? the http://goo.im/gapps website seems to be down for some reason and it's the only thing I need to start flashing this.
Thanks in advance!
Will post after I flash and play with this ROM! Thanks Devs!!!
I'm looking for the gapps-ics-20120429-signed version.

Build #7
This is the kind of news that gets the day off to a good start! I'm also skeptical, given what Entropy has said about he audio HAL problems, but androidindian has been right before! :fingers-crossed:
Could you please show me which one of these changes is Galaxy Note specific? ...
The truth is that development for this project has stopped. The OP recetly mentioned he/she is feeling a burn-out.
The kernel dev is obviously taking pleasure in being rude with people who are stupid and/or ignorant...
It's just CM stuff being changed in the nightlies, which sometimes can make things worse for us.
