You can restore with Xperia S phonebook mod from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1533575 download and install it via cwm.

Or if you have a backup of your original phonebook ..move it system/app and change permissions again and reboot.

Download original stock 2.3.4 phonebook from here http://db.tt/tNdtwVjZ

Is there any chance this can be mod to work for GB 2.3.4 like what pallavikv did for the infiniteview?

gr8 many thnx gal.. working on XROM RC8 ..finally i'm able to add contacts via phone.. due to the FCs i had to add via contacts.google.com and use some other dialer.
