I was in on this topic for several days, but have not read the last 30 pages just for this suggestion.

The screen flicker, I saw it a little on mine and it got a lot worse - for a short while - with 1.29 and since appears to have ceased.

However what I wanted to say was that I believe it is entirely software as one of the power saving innovations listed for Tegra 3 is PRISM, where the intensity of colours on in the LCD are adjusted by the SoC in tandem with the back-light to give the same overall image while using less back-light.

Just guessing but since people frequently connect the flicker to specific screen colours it may just be PRISM making mistakes. When I had 1.26 I found a tiny amount of screen flickering whenever the screen was mostly dark and something, for example the 3G I/O icon was animating. The overall flicker of the screen was very much happening along with the animating icon.

Just a thought.

The screen flicker on my phone has had me extremely worried because I assumed it was a hardware defect.
If it's fixed with this update I will piss my pants in joy...

+1 to that

are we having HTC fanboys here or what!! or people who never used android before,

Fact¬¬ Live wallpaper on any android (even entry level) never used to pause while changing homescreen

This is the first time I can see that Phone (topend, quadcore, 1.5 ghz, Nvidia(graphics specialist), tegra( already in prime)) should lag in wallpaper, seriously____ and no one should accept that it pauses when u touch
IT SHOULD NEVER PAUSE PERIOD
