I was looking for a cheap mp3 player to give at a gift exchange at work when I came across this baby. It is in the line of cheap chinese PMP knockoffs. Suprised to find it on frys website.
It's called MACH SPEED OASIS-2GB

OMG!!! It's way too much for this. The screen is seriously dilapitated and the sound sounds muffled coming thru the headphones. I bought it for someone at work. They always comented on my Artemis so I thought it would be a good gag gift. In terms of usability, its horrid. Not even touchscreen.

Theres also companies selling look-a-like Touch mp3 players now.

Exactly what I thought! I wouldnt use it even it it came for free with my Artemis lol.. so whats up with your colleagues commenting your Artemis? are they jealous or do they prefer a Blackberry/Palm like my colleagues?

Yes, my coworkers are using the Tmo MDA's, SDA's and now the Shadow, others use Wizards and Palm Treo's. Majority of ppl are gonna buy what comes from the carrier, especially upgrade phones over here. I returned the AT&T Tilt (Kaiser) because of the bulk. The Artemis is faster, especially after you put Meschle's Touch_lite 3.01 ROM on it.
Ive got a blackberry pearl refurb that collects dust in a drawer. The trackwheel on the Artemis is more responsive than the pearl.
