i guess they're hit or miss. i bought a couple for my OG Droid through an amazon seller and they were fine. for my DX2, i bought one for backup. i've only used it once, but it held a 95% charge during the week between when i charged it and used it. i spent ~$25 apiece for mine--moto branded and stock (well, OEM-looking, at least).
