Okay graphics driver working well now, booting and having fun.
Until I tried to get online and noticed my not working wifi.
Does I have to inject the wifi driver or anything I missed?

Well I wish you a lot of fun in spain jhinta!

did you installed the modules correctly? or do a insmod on the wifi module,
if you have your own rootfs get nvram and bcm firmware file and place under /lib/firmware

Does this kernel work with 12.04? I thought nvidia had not released drivers for 12.04 yet.

many thanks to jhinta

this really works nice.

sounds worked, and even hdmi - although the image on a projector is cropped ( resolution still 1280 rather than 1024 ) so i need to work on that.

one issue is that anything not connected to the tf before booting will not be recognised, eg dock, usb mouse, and flash drives.

but now i have 11.10, with most that i need, so cannot complain.

btw what is the main advantage of hf?

Well I unziped 3.1.10 into /lib/modules/
lsmod shows a loaded bcm4329 (thats the wifi, or am I mistaken?)
in /lib/firmware are
nvram.txt
nvrm_avp_xxxxxxxx.bin (5 different)
nvrm_avp.bin

I used apply_binaries.sh (r15 beta) to install all tegra drivers.

I'm running 12.04 upgraded from 11.10 rootfs from lilstevie.
Previously wifi was working on 12.04
Or ware there just no drivers for 12.04 working with 3.1 kernel?

Anything I missed?

So the 3.1 kernel works fine with 12.04? I thought that we had the use the beta 12 drivers with ubuntu because the new ones did not work properly.

Well yeah it works pretty fine (now even get a time estimation for battery life), but I have no wifi till now

Well previously we had to use beta 12 because we used no 3.1 kernel

Thanks! You could try using Olife to inject the wifi modules. I think that bcm4329 is for wifi but I could be mistaken.
