You reckon? I think it is just too damn big, and I'm not convinced by the new features. "Designed for humans..." with bl00dy big hands.

Think I'm going to be going for the Sony Experia then after that announcement, especially at the monthly costs they're likely to want for it.

Quite impressive. But they have blatantly copied Apple and HTC. They copied Siri, and the One's burst mode and dropbox integration.

No wonder they are getting sued. Also, the feature where the device will stay awake when you are looking at it is pretty cool (using the FFC) but doesn't that drain battery, if the FFC has to be active at all times?

TBH, I still think the SGS2 is amazing. The S2 was a great step up to the original, but somehow for me, the SGS3 just doesnt seem that good..

People seem disappointed but i'm not sure what they expected! They've seem to have outdone every other company. I'm not keen on the shape or the usual plastic or the fact that samsung has a desire to be like apple but I think they've done a very good job. I'll wait for some good reviews but i think right now it has impressed me.Now it just has to hold its own against the iPhone 5.

I've never been a big fan of Sony in the android market. They just don't seem to do as good as they do in other markets (TVs, cameras, etc.). HTC has been plagued with problems and even if the Galaxy S3 was a load of rubbish, it would still be worth it for the fact that Samsung is developer friendly.

The bezel has been narrowed so the screen is 22 per cent larger, unit itself is "not that much bigger" - Quote from Samsung

Roughly the same size as a SGS2 then, which IMO is a nice footprint.

I'm sold on the SGS3.

If nothing else, the exynos' low consumption, along with the 2100mAh battery is enough for me to go for it!

+1 was going to wait for the new nexus phone but this monster looks too good to pass on. Samsung seem to actually encourage their dev community too, which is another bonus for flashaholics like me
