anybody has any problem with battery drainage on AlBa v3?
I noticed that the phone is awake most of the time. At least 70% of the entire usage the phone is awake. Check on kernel and partial wakelocks but couldn't identify what is wrong..

I had this problem too but yesterday I reflashed both rom and kernel to resolve other issues and today the battery is better. It doesn't seem to stay awake all the time now.

did anyone tried the modem LB2 on alba LP6 V3??
somehow with LP5 and lp6 modem ... warming is great.
I testing and I came to the conclusion that the kernel is not guilty for warming. I tried and LP5 and LP6 ... practically the same in terms of warming.
I tried all combinations of kernel and modem ... no important differences.

how I tested ... (no sensor to measure the temperature of the processor so I used the temperature of the battery (a CPU temperature is higher) means, the measured temperatures is related to the battery.)

programs:Badass Battery Monitor and Bat. stat.
ambient temperature 25C

web + WIFI ... ALP6v3 with LP5kernel + LP5-lp6 modem .... around 38 - 40C (30 min)
Copilot v9 ... ... ALP6v3 with LP5kernel + LP5-LP6 modem ... around 48 - 50C and increased (30 min)

web + WIFI ... ALP6v3 with LP6kernel + LP5-lp6 modem .... around 40 - 42C (30 min)
Copilot v9 ... ... ALP6v3 with LP6kernel + LP5-LP6 modem ... around 52 - 56C and increased (30 min)

... in the previous version alba LP5 v2 ... LP5 kernel was used with a modem LB2 ... and the warming is much less ... performance are similar.

web + WIFI ... ALP5v2 with LP5kernel + LB2 modem .... around 32 - 34C (30 min)
Copilot v9 ... ... ALP5v2 with LP5kernel + LB2 modem ... around 44 - 48C stable (30 min)

Unfortunately I do not have screen capture images to attachments ... This test is a amateur ... is not valid ... just my observation.

otherwise V3 is a great rom ...

------------------------------------------------

I would tried to flash LB2 modem... but I have to wait to be fixed my lap top ... I burn my HDD

Just flash this kernel after you flash: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ighlight=dafuq

It should prevent you from getting bricked.

Me. Actually, I tried severl possible combinations with kernels/modems. And the best results I got from - it's V2 or V3 with LP5 kernel and LB2 modem. So far, 36 hrs battery lifetime with 4 hrs of screen usage, and 54hrs with 3 hrs of screen usage. Screen usage - I mean, active - tapping, scrolling, etc. 6 hrs of Angry Birds playing. Temperatures - from 26c in idle state up to 41c with screen on, loaded by game+background processes+3g+wifi. ~4200 in Quadrant. For me it's the best combinations so far. No awake with screen off, -2% battery at night with wi-fi on.
