I believe I've backed up correctly and restored correctly, unless there's something special or different I need to do.
Because restoring the exact same backup file using ClockWorkMOD 5.8.0.9 RC2 Touch Recovery actually works!
So now I'm confused.. hehe..

For this I'll need your assistance though because it seems that this is something I won't be able to reproduce.

Well, since 4ext wasnt restoring the backup properly, I had to boot up with clockworkmod(PH85IMG) file, then restore worked just fine. Strange and unique enough I guess.
Btw, Im currently on latest Energy ICS rom, S-OFF, HBOOT-1.93.2222, 4EXT Recovery Touch v1.0.0.5 RC3 build 98, fixed permissions and all. Rom works great after cwm restore; just cant restore using your incredible recovery program.
Just let me know your findings and further suggestions whenever you are available again. Thanks again!

Hey just wanted to report a bug:

When I click on reload theme, even though theres no themes installed (i forgot..) screen goes black, needed to battery reset.

****... It was fixed. I just tried on build 98 and got same thing. Maxx is in for long day tomorrow.
