If you mean to boot directly in Linux like the thread in A500 forum. No. Or not have been posted here.
Otherwise it's possible. You can run linux over android and connect to it from vnc on localhost but have a lag.

I'm sure it's doable. I am planning on reading up on the A500 forum and do it.

From what I saw scanning the posts, It sounds like they are running it as a VM and accessing gnome via vnc. Otherwise they just have cmd line.

Need help figuring out how to customize your Acer A100/101? Look here for Help

Author of Flashex 2.05 (Enables watching Hulu and others in browser by hex-editing libflashplayer.so file from AND back to WIN, then copies it back to Abobe Flash and checks Adobe Flash for updates, and will re-edit libflashplayer.so when a new version is detected. Compatible with ANY Flash version and any device that can run it )

Yes, using the 'Linux Installer' way with vnc n stuff works. I tested ubuntu n backtrack. Ubuntu works fine, just dont go with thu full ubuntu as it has unity on it and is just too damn laggy. Backtrack fails everytime. I havent tested the debian one yet though.

But saying like the thread in A500 forum i mean this thread from wich they booting directly in Linux without Android at all.
