Ok, thanks. But, and I am not trying to be a PITA, as I said, I am no tech geek so I am a little slow to understand some things. I would love to know how to check as you stated. Plus, if there are no wakelock permission in the version I am using, why am I seeing them in the screenshot? Or is that something else that I am misinterpreting?
you're looking at alarms, not wakelocks. they are not the same thing. an alarm is something that an app can set to wake up the phone at a given time in the future. when you have lock delay enabled in UWW, it sets an alarm when you turn your screen off. if your lock delay is set to 30 seconds, UWW sets an alarm to wake the phone 30 seconds after you turn the screen off, so that UWW can lock it. while the alarm is set, the phone is not awake. the phone only briefly wakes up when the alarm goes off, and UWW locks the phone. i'm not going to go into a full explanation of alarms vs wakelocks, but if you want to know more, you can google it.
